Chef Ati Mala and Mio Nonno Wood Fired Pizza & Grill bring authentic Italian flair to Allen, TX.
After launching a previous successful restaurant concept in North Texas, Ati says “the opportunity to be part of Allen restaurant scene was one we simply could not pass up”.
Mio Nonno, “my grandfather” in Italian, stands out for authenticity, tradition, originality and creativity. A perfect blend of traditional Central and Southern Italian recipes made of fresh ingredients.
The Food
Mio Nonno is focusing on a healthful, chef-driven menu that highlights the freshest ingredients available locally and some imported high-quality Italian ingredients.
The reason to come here is obvious: wood fired smoky-crusted pizza with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella! Or you may want to try an American brunch favorite- Pizza L’Americano! Come back for our antipasti, insalate, Italian Classics pasta and carni– grilled meats. The grand finale is the dessert of the day! Chef Ati promises to surprise and fascinate your taste buds.
The Deco
The restaurant design inspires a rustic old world with a wood fired oven as center piece. Complimented by a contemporary 26 feet custom banquette made by Storgio Ventura , the restaurant keeps its family oriented feel, while creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere.
